1. The Classroom Genesis (2008 – 2023)

Long before the first line of our code was written or a model was compiled, our mission was active in a small classroom in Bengaluru. In 2008, 'My Paper Guru' was founded as an offline academic institute dedicated to K-12 students. Starting with a single room and just 12 students, the founders—a small family of passionate educators—were driven by a single belief: that every child learns differently.

To deliver on that promise, our teachers spent hours every weekend hand-writing custom question papers, worksheets, and syllabus reviews tailored to individual student weaknesses. The institute grew entirely by word-of-mouth. Over 15 years, 'My Paper Guru' guided more than 10,000 board aspirants through competitive exams, establishing a legacy built on trust, pedagogical care, and child-safe educational practices.

2. Building the Digital Core (2024 – 2025)

As classrooms evolved, we realized that the manual worksheets that drove 'My Paper Guru' could be scaled to help millions. In 2024, the team initiated the development of MyPaperGenie, transitioning our decades of physical teaching experience into a cloud-based AI assessment engine.

Rather than generating superficial answers, the engine was built to act as a diagnostic aid. We structured templates that automate assessment generation for teachers, allowing them to output comprehensive, board-level custom papers in under 10 seconds. The core philosophy remained untouched: personalize the learning, ensure safety, and guide the student step-by-step.

3. Going Global: The Khypri AI Era (2026 – Present)

In 2026, MyPaperGenie took its final step forward, rebranding globally to Khypri AI. The rebrand signaled our expansion beyond basic practice papers to a comprehensive, child-safe learning suite. We integrated a 7-layer Safety Core™ to build our data practices in line with India's DPDP Act 2023 and the EU's GDPR.

Today, Khypri AI supports CBSE, ICSE, IB, and Cambridge boards, serving classrooms globally, including partners in Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Southeast Asia. We continue to build tools that teachers trust, parents endorse, and students love to use.
